Office Manager and ParalegalSabrina’s path to her current role as Office Manager and Paralegal at Square One Development reflects her experience in real estate and law, which are crucial to her success. Her career pivot began in the nonprofit sector, leading investigations for impact litigation cases and working as a director of programs in federal court. This experience underscored the critical impact of housing availability, steering her toward real estate.
Her transition into real estate was further influenced by her experience managing a family-owned legal services business, prompting her to pursue a Paralegal program at the University of San Diego School of Law. This education led to an internship and subsequent employment at Square One, where she leverages her diverse background to manage cross-departmental projects. In her capacity, Sabrina significantly contributes to various aspects of the company’s operations, including collaborating on projects with the Principals to align strategies with business and financial objectives, overseeing daily office operations, assisting in property management and leasing, managing communications, and developing marketing strategies for the company’s online presence. Additionally, she works under the General Counsel as an in-house paralegal.
Sabrina’s real estate insight is further enhanced by her experience in the hospitality industry and property management, including running a rental arbitrage business. This blend of legal knowledge, real estate interest, and community service defines her unique contribution to Square One Development, making her an central part of the team.
In addition to her responsibilities at Square One, Sabrina co-founded a youth basketball nonprofit aimed at introducing inner-city youth to basketball. She continues to contribute to her community as a registered and bonded process server for San Diego County and actively participates in her alma mater’s alumni council, leading the recent graduates’ committee and serving on the philanthropy committee.
